About The Kavanaghs

The Kavanaghs are a Power Pop band from Rosario, Argentina who are heavily   influenced by Power Pop Groups of the late 60's & 70's.  Groups like the  Beatles,   Badfinger, the Zombies, Beach Boys and the Raspberries to name just a few.

The group was founded by Tiago Galindez ( Vocals, Bass & Keyboards ), Diago   Vasquez ( Guitar & Vocals ), Sebastian Cairo ( Guitar & Vocals ) and Franco   Barbieri ( Drums ).  In the groups short history they have released three CD's an   EP and a live CD/DVD album.

In 2009, the Kavanaghs played a number of concert dates outside Argentina   including a week at the famous Cavern ( which was made famous by the Beatles )   during Beatles Week ( A yearly Festival ), in Liverpool, England and in 2010 the   Kavanaghs traveled to the United States to play the "Pop Overthrow Festival", an   event that brings together the exponents of the "Power Pop World" and included   dates at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas and at the famous, Whisky A GoGo in Los   Angeles, California.

The Kavanaghs are signed to Dreamscape Records are currently recording a new   album and hopefully be able to promote the new release by touring both the   United States, the UK and Europe the middle of next year.
